Research
Research
My research focused on how technology can exist at festivals like Nowhere without disrupting presence or human connection. Instead of competing with the experience, the app was designed to remain minimal and intentional, only used to capture moments and memories. By limiting interactions to quick actions like photos and scans, the app enhances the festival experience rather than distracting from it.

Design
The app uses the same visual identity as my Nowhere Festival branding to create a cohesive experience across physical and digital spaces. The interface is intentionally minimal, focusing only on essential features like quests and the map, while avoiding elements that promote excessive phone use. UI mockup using placeholder imagery. Photos used for academic demonstration purposes only.

SOLUTION
SOLUTION
Participants can take photos of installations, performances, and encounters throughout the festival. Tapping NFC tags placed around installations allows users to save artworks and locations they discover. The app collects these moments into a personal archive that participants can revisit after the event.
